Investigating Faculty Technological and Pedagogical Content Knowledge: The BiPSU Context

One of the components that shape educational system is instructor. They do several tasks at school significantly impact students' character, value system, principles, and character entire population. Because teacher's position in classroom, need for teacher professionalism, discipline, competence, commitment, innovation crucial teachers to contribute country's aim obtaining an exceptional education. Per recommendations Accrediting Agency Chartered Colleges Universities Philippines, this study surveyed 31 faculty members School Arts Sciences department. It evaluated their competency integrating technology into pedagogical content using Johnson's (2001) cross-sectional descriptive design. Using updated TPACK (Technology, Pedagogical, Content Knowledge) instrument developed by Valtonen et al. (2017), found liberal arts understand how various technologies can be used classroom. also recognized incorporating classroom may change teaching. A strong relationship was between teachers' service length, knowledge, sex, technological knowledge. suggested administrators prioritize program investment strategies develop experienced teaching workforce high-quality individuals. advised engage activities optimize Information Communication Technology (ICT) increase professional growth, learning.
